About Beta

My name is Elisabeth but my friends call me Beta.  I come from Brazil. Part of my family is from Corte Madera, and, in addition to them, my daycare children create a home-away-from-home for me —  for which I am, everyday, grateful for.

I was a full-time stay-home mother to my two beautiful daughters, which allowed me to see firsthand all the challenges of motherhood. I know how quality childcare matters and how important it is to trust your child in caring hands.

My daycare is my home - so the atmosphere here is cozy. I strive to nurture a warm, clean and safe space where they feel safe to be children and develop at their own pace. My goal is to make their first years in the world joyful & enriching ones.

All of my staff are certified in CPR, First Aid, Preventative Health and Safety Training, Fingerprinted, background checked and have Medical Clearance.

 

Beta's Daycare is licensed by the State of California and is a smoke-free, pet-free home and free of bodies of water (no pool, hot tubs, etc). Our daycare is monitored by a 24/7 video recording system. Communication is crucial to me and I strive to be as transparent and responsive as possible: expect pictures and updates of your child to be sent to you regularly via app.

We serve organic, nutritious, freshly cooked homemade meals which include: breakfast, morning snack, lunch and afternoon snack (see menu). You don't have to pack food unless you want to.

Our curriculum is enriched by lots of learning! Everyday, our kids engage in at least one teacher-led activity (see classes).

 

 We thrive to stimulate their socialization and incite their curiosity about the world through plenty of outdoor play, fun arts & crafts activities, a rich & frequently renewed inventory of age-appropriate toys, free play with each other or just allowing them downtime to simply be kids.
