About Beta's Daycare

Hi, I’m Beta! Research says that if I do my job well, I can change the world. So, 40 years ago, I chose to take on this challenge. I’ve been caring for little ones since 1987 - it’s not just my job, it’s truly my heart.  Over the years, the children I’ve cared for here have helped shape this daycare into something truly special — a warm, joyful second home. I feel deeply grateful to be part of so many families’ early journeys.
 

I’m a mom of two grown daughters and a proud grandma of a boy and a girl. Having experienced every stage of motherhood (and grand-motherhood!), I understand how emotional and important the decision to find the right childcare can be. That’s why, along with my husband and my two daughters, I’ve created a cozy, home-based environment where your child is nurtured like family.

Your child will thrive in a setting designed to feel like family. The backyard is Beta's Daycare main highlight: it is expansive and surrounded by one of the most beautiful Marin County Nature preserves - we use it everyday!

Our license from the State of California ensures we meet strict safety standards. We maintain a smoke-free, pet-free, pool-free environment and continuous 24/7 video monitoring for added peace of mind!
 

Certified, Caring Staff

The soundtrack of our working day? The sound of happy and engaged children. We must be doing something right. Our team is fully certified in CPR, First Aid, Preventative Health & Safety, fingerprinted, background-checked, and medically cleared. Every adult here is trained, but more importantly - we love our kids.
 

Clear & Ongoing Communication

You’ll receive daily updates and photos through our secure app. Open communication is one of our top priorities - you’ll never feel out of the loop.
 

Fresh, Organic Meals Included (see menu)

We provide healthy, freshly cooked, homemade, organic hot meals and snacks — breakfast, morning snack, lunch, and afternoon snack — so there’s no need to pack food unless you choose to. 
 

Learning Through Love & Play (see classes)

Children engage in daily guided learning activities that spark curiosity and support development at their own pace. We blend structure with plenty of freedom for discovery, including:

• Outdoor playtime in Beta's expansive backyard

• Arts & crafts to explore creativity

• Age-appropriate toys rotated regularly
