There are truly not enough words to describe how much we love Beta's Daycare. We started at Beta's last summer when my son was one and the moment we met Beta we felt an instant connection; her love for children and what she does is palpable.
My son doesn't warm up to people that easily, but a few minutes into us talking he left us to go explore with her. It certainly helps that her home is set up so well for kids. The sunny outdoor area with all the toys and play structures any kid could wish for and the clean and organized indoor with the reading area and mats for yoga and story time.
We actually live in Mill Valley and work in the city and we initially wanted to find a daycare closer to home (not that Corte Madera is that far, but it's still the opposite direction from our daily routine), but I found that I didn't connect with the other places. I was looking for someone who would love and play with my son the way I would. I also found a lot of the daycares are very large and run like a business, which I understand from their perspective as well. But Beta was different. I know I've said it earlier but she's family..her family is family. Warm smiles, big hearts, and generous. And the lovely women, Theresa and Mariella, who work with her are just as lovely. My son literally runs to them in the morning, which would be his review if he could write one.
Our son was one of the first to be taken care of by Beta and has now been going to Beta's daycare for over a year. We feel extremely fortunate to have him taken care of by Beta and her family!
When we were looking around for a daycare, Beta's daycare stood out from the rest. As new parents, there was something unexplainable about Beta's that reassured us that our son would be taken care of. Maybe it was the way Beta first interacted with our son when we met her -- Beta has many years of daycare experience and has raised her own girls who are now adults. Or maybe it was the very warm, cheerful, nurturing -- and meticulously clean -- environment. And even though at other daycares we sometimes felt that there were too many kids to provide individual attention, this was not the case at Beta's. As new parents, we went with our gut feeling and have never looked back.
After over a year, we can honestly say it is one of the best daycares around. Beta and her family are family to us -- as well as her wonderful helpers Mariela and Teresa. They treat all the kids/babies with the love and attention that they need. We know our son's daily needs are being met and are not being ignored. Here we really are sending our son to family not strangers. They provide structure during the weekdays which is hard for parents to create at home 7 days per week. There is meal time, snack time, outdoor time, and nap time. Beta's daycare provides activities for the kids like arts and crafts, yoga, and daily walks or buggy rides. Each month has a theme focusing on different numbers, letters, and colors. Beta even provides organic fruits and vegetables and hot homemade breakfast and lunches!
Our son is Beta's biggest fan and loves going to daycare and playing with his friends. He constantly talks about his friends and daycare family. In the morning his first question is, "is there daycare today?!" We highly recommend Beta's daycare to anyone looking for a warm, loving, nurturing environment for their child.

We feel so incredibly lucky to have found Beta's!! I did an extensive search for daycares throughout Marin County and Beta's was one of the few that felt safe, warm, loving, and educational for my son. It was very difficult for me to imagine dropping my son off for daycare and I knew I had to find a place that I could trust 100%... and Beta's is this place :)
Our son started at Beta's when he was around 17 months old and he has absolutely flourished in her care. Beta is extremely communicative and always available to provide updates, chat through things about our son's day, etc. She is flexible and adaptable, making adjustments or suggestions as our son has grown and his schedule has needed to change. Most of all, though, Beta exudes love and warmth towards our son every single day. She provides a healthy breakfast and lunch, along with snacks throughout the day. The kids go on daily walks in the buggy stroller. And Beta's home is clean and safe inside, with age-appropriate toys and activities for the kids. Her backyard set up is wonderful, as well. There is a covered area that provides a good amount of shade, plus fantastic grass and lots of play structures for the kids!
Beta does all sorts of activities with the kids: from music class to yoga to tons and tons of beautiful art projects. They always seem to be busy doing something fun!
Mariela and Theresa, who help Beta with the daycare, are equally wonderful and loving. We are expecting another baby later this Fall and hope that Beta will have space in her daycare for him to attend once I return to work. We love Beta's Daycare and can't recommend it enough!

Beta and her staff take AMAZING care of our 2 year and have been doing so for the past year. Our little one goes 5 days a week and is fed good organic nutritious meals (breakfast, lunch and snacks) and the daycare has art, music and dance class.
Beta also does daily buggy rides to the park and back, story time and lots of play time in their spacious backyard full of swings, slides, play houses and with lots of safety features to protect the kids.
There are always two or 3 staff members there at a minimum. We feel so lucky to have her as an extended family and look forward to putting even more of our future little ones in her care.
My family absolutely love love love Beta's daycare! From the moment I met Beta, Theresa and Mariela I felt like my son would be in a safe, loving, playful and educational space.
He's been with Beta's daycare since he was 7 months old (now 19 months old). They helped create structure to the day with meal time, set naps, and time for learning (yoga, art, music class) and free play.
The structure really helped my husband and I in our new parent sleep deprived state because we actually adopted the same schedule at home since he was thriving there during the week. Beta, Theresa and Mariela are trustworthy and loving and I really feel they treat my son as if he were their own.
The way he's excited to see them in the morning's also shows me how much he loves being there with them - what more could you ask for as a parent!

There aren't enough words to describe how wonderful our experience with Beta was! Our daughter joined Beta's daycare at 1 year old and had an amazing time. Beta always had a variety of activities for the children and provided them a safe and clean environment but above all, Beta and her team were incredibly loving toward our daughter and all of the children. I would highly recommend Beta's daycare!!

As first time parents, we were nervous about transitioning from a nanny to daycare...but Beta is so warm & loving, and our daughter has truly thrived in such a welcoming environment. She LOVES going to daycare every day, especially all the activities provided (e.g. yoga, music time, gym class, arts & crafts). Her staff show so much love to the kids, and they are always braiding her hair and encouraging her, and taking the time to celebrate each individual child for birthdays and "graduations". The Halloween & holiday parties are very special for the kids, and Beta loves giving little gifts for all the holidays year round. The staff also provide the best food (includes breakfast, lunch, and snack), and my daughter is always well fed and happy at daycare. The hours are excellent for working parents. We are so appreciative for Beta & her team's dedication and excellent care for our little girl!
Beta's Daycare is absolutely amazing! They take such wonderful care of all of the kids, and you can truly feel the love that they emanate. We always feel so comfortable with our daughter there, knowing she is in loving hands of Beta and the other caregivers, Teresa, Mariela and Vivi. They have a great curriculum for the kids and also serve them delicious organic food. They also celebrate all of the birthdays and holidays and our daughter comes home with the cutest holiday gifts. The Halloween party was our favorite. We are so thankful for Beta and her team and highly recommend them!!!
